How easy is it to cancel?

Genuinely easy, and this is the best thing about it. The terms state plainly, in capitals, that 'ALL SUBSCRIPTIONS AUTOMATICALLY RENEW', with a further paragraph confirming you will continue to be charged until you cancel. Crucially, the cancellation route is self-service: 'If you wish to cancel future subscription renewals, you can accomplish this via your user profile on the website.' There is no requirement to telephone, no email-only process, no retention conversation. The consequence is also clean — a subscription cancelled before renewal 'will expire at the time of renewal instead of renewing for an additional term', so you keep the term you have paid for and nothing further is taken. The terms are equally straightforward about the limits: cancelling 'does not provide you a refund for Subscription payments already processed, nor does it stop a pending charge'. That is standard and it is stated rather than discovered. Measured against the subscription terms we have reviewed this year, this is close to best practice.

Nothing about it is hidden; it is just unexplained.
