Then read the summary panel. It lists one test: Cannabinoids. No heavy metals, no pesticides, no microbials, no mycotoxins, no residual solvents, across either page. For something you swallow, potency tells you how strong it is and contaminant testing tells you whether it is safe — and only the first is shown.
The certificate also makes the dose concrete: 80.6mg of Δ8-THC per serving on the batch we checked, against a 5–10mg standard serving in regulated markets. To the brand's credit, it no longer sells THC-O, which the DEA has said is a controlled substance rather than hemp — the affiliate listing naming it is two years out of date.

3.4 / 5 — one of the few hemp brands that will genuinely show you its paperwork, and the paperwork only covers half of what matters.
We have now tested this claim across a run of hemp companies and most of them cannot produce a single certificate. TRĒ House can produce hundreds: 86 per-product pages, several batches each, going back to 2023, from KCA Laboratories in Lexington with its Kentucky licence number and ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation printed on the face of the report, analysed by HPLC-PDA and GC-MS/MS with detection limits given for every analyte and two named signatories. The newest batch was three weeks old when we looked. That is a real quality system and it deserves real credit. It has also stopped selling THC-O, which the DEA classified as a controlled substance in 2023 — the affiliate material naming a THC-O product is two years stale, and we checked rather than repeating it.
What stops it going higher is the scope of that certificate. Its summary panel lists exactly one test, Cannabinoids, and neither page shows heavy metals, pesticides, microbials, mycotoxins or residual solvents. Potency verification is genuinely useful — it is how we know a serving carries 80.6mg of Δ8-THC, which is eight to sixteen times a standard regulated serving and worth knowing before you eat one. But for an ingestible, the contaminant panel is the half that answers whether it is safe rather than how strong it is, and competitors publish six panels on one page. Add no independent review record anywhere, a permanent 40% code that makes list prices meaningless, and a catalogue of Δ8, Δ9, Δ10, HHC, THC-P and THCA that the November 2026 redefinition reaches almost entirely — including the semi-synthetics specifically. If you buy, buy one item, start with a quarter of a gummy, and email support to ask whether full-panel results exist for your batch. That question is the one thing that would move this rating.

Can you actually see a lab report?
Yes, and this is where TRĒ House does well — we have found the same claim to be hollow at several brands, so we tested it properly. The lab-reports index links to 86 separate per-product pages. We opened one, for the sour blue raspberry HHC gummies, and found three batch-dated certificates: batch 20138BR from April 2026, 151238BR from September 2024 and 109838BR from September 2023. All three downloaded as real PDFs with descriptive filenames. That is a working system with a visible history rather than a single showpiece document, and it puts this brand in the minority of hemp companies that will actually show you the paperwork. The certificate itself is professional: issued by KCA Laboratories of Lexington, Kentucky, with the laboratory's Kentucky Department of Agriculture licence number P_0058 and ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation number 108651 printed on it, ILAC-MRA recognition, analysis by HPLC-PDA and GC-MS/MS, limits of detection and quantitation given for every analyte, and signatures from two named staff.
So what is the problem with the certificates?
Scope. The certificate we downloaded tests cannabinoids and nothing else. Its summary panel lists a single line — 'Cannabinoids' — and the second page contains only an abbreviations key and signatures. There is no heavy metals panel, no pesticide screen, no microbial testing, no mycotoxins and no residual solvents anywhere in the document. For a product you swallow, that is the half that matters most: potency tells you how strong it is, contaminant testing tells you whether it is safe. Compare it with brands we have reviewed that publish six panels on a single certificate, all passing. To be fair, this is a limitation of what was ordered rather than of the laboratory, which is properly accredited and clearly competent, and it is possible contaminant testing is done and simply published elsewhere. But we could not find it, and a customer looking at that certificate is seeing potency verification only. Ask customer service directly whether full-panel results exist for your batch.
How strong are these products?
Strong, and the certificate makes that concrete in a way marketing copy usually does not. The batch we examined — a 2000mg, 20-count bottle of Δ8 gummies — reported 80.6mg of Δ8-THC per serving, alongside smaller amounts of Δ4,8-iso-THC, CBN and CBL, for total cannabinoids of 94.3mg per serving. For scale, a standard single serving in regulated cannabis markets is generally 5 to 10mg of THC. Δ8 is commonly described as less potent than Δ9 by weight, but 80mg is a very large dose by any reading and not somewhere an inexperienced user should start. The brand also sells THC-P, which it markets as substantially more potent than Δ9. If you are new to edibles, start with a fraction of one gummy, wait a full two hours before considering more, and do not judge the dose by how you feel after twenty minutes.
Does it sell THC-O?
No, and we checked specifically because the affiliate material we were given listed a THC-O product. That listing is from 2024 and is out of date: the product at that URL is now a Δ8 gummy with HHC and THC-P, and searching the live store for 'THC-O' and 'THCO' returns nothing. This matters because in 2023 the DEA stated that THC-O acetate is a controlled substance rather than hemp, on the basis that it does not occur naturally in the cannabis plant and is synthetically produced. A brand that has moved off THC-O since then has done the right thing, and we would rather say so than repeat a stale product list. What it does sell is Δ8, Δ9, Δ10, HHC, THCA and THC-P — of which HHC and THC-P are semi-synthetic, which is directly relevant to the November 2026 change described below.
What does it cost and can you return it?
Prices ran from roughly $20 to $80 when we checked on 7 August 2026, with free shipping over $75 — but a 40% sitewide code was running, which makes the list prices notional rather than what anyone pays. Compare actual checkout totals, and ideally cost per milligram, rather than percentage discounts. The return policy is more generous than most in this category: you may return 'unopened products (or items containing a reasonable amount of the unused product), in original packaging within 30 days', so a partially used item can qualify — the policy says 'only unopened or minimally used items' and invites you to contact customer service about borderline cases. You must request a return merchandise authorisation first, and unrequested returns are refused. If your order included a promotional free gift, everything in the promotion has to go back together.
Is there any independent review record?
None that we could find, which is worth registering. There is no Trustpilot profile for trehouse.com at all — not a poor score, simply no profile. That leaves on-site reviews, which the company controls, and nothing external to weigh them against. In this particular case the gap matters slightly less than usual, because the lab certificates give you something objective to check that most brands do not offer. But you are still buying largely on the company's own presentation, and we found no FDA warning letter or other regulatory action either way, so there is little external signal in any direction.
What happens on 12 November 2026?
Effectively the whole catalogue is affected, and this one has an extra exposure. On 12 November 2025 the President signed H.R. 5371, which from 12 November 2026 redefines hemp as containing no more than 0.3% total THC on a dry weight basis, inclusive of THCA and delta-8, and caps a hemp consumable at 0.4mg of total THC per container. A single serving here carried 1.21mg of Δ9-THC alone — already three times the per-container limit before counting the 80.6mg of Δ8, which the new definition folds into the total. The redefinition also excludes synthetics, which reaches HHC and THC-P directly. The U.S. Hemp Roundtable has estimated the standard renders roughly 95% of existing hemp cannabinoid products federally unlawful. Buy a single item if you want to try it; do not set up a subscription.
Who should not use these?
Anyone under 21. Anyone pregnant, trying to conceive or breastfeeding. Anyone with a personal or family history of psychosis, schizophrenia or bipolar disorder, since THC can precipitate psychiatric symptoms. Anyone with significant cardiovascular disease. Anyone driving or operating machinery within several hours of a dose — and with 80mg servings, 'several hours' may understate it. Anyone subject to workplace, custody, probation or athletic drug testing, since these contain real THC and will show on a standard screen. Anyone taking sedatives, benzodiazepines, opioids or alcohol, because the effects compound. If you take a GLP-1 receptor agonist, raise it with your prescriber: THC increases appetite, which works directly against the medication, and both affect gut motility.
